It holds an Air Operator Certificate for charter, aerial work, and flying school operations. The company also runs a CAR 30-approved aircraft maintenance facility.

Owner Credentials

The company’s Director, Steve Griffin, is a highly skilled aviation professional. CASA has authorised him as a Testing Officer. He also worked as a Flying Operations Inspector with CASA for three years, including 16 months in the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Group.

Steve holds multiple licences and approvals. These include Commercial Pilot Licences for aeroplanes and balloons, private Helicopter and Glider Pilot Licences, and a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL). His RePL covers multirotor, aeroplane, helicopter, airship, and powered-lift systems. Steve has held an aircraft maintenance authority since 1989 and an aircraft weight control authority.

The Federation Aeronautique Internationale has recognised Steve’s achievements. They awarded him the Montgolfier and Henri Mignet Diplomas. He also holds 16 aviation world records, most of which he set in aircraft he designed, built, and flew.

Notable Achievements

Enter Another Dimension Pty Ltd also holds a ReOC.  Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) operations of the Astigan High Altitude Long Endurance RPA were conducted under the ReOC . Steve is the Chief Remote Pilot for that ReOC. He obtained the world’s first operating approval for a civilian RPA to operate in the stratosphere. Operations were conducted in Australia, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Australian Drone Innovation Hub

Enter Another Dimension Pty Ltd proudly sponsors the Australian Drone Innovation Hub. The company offers free access to its workshop facilities for startups working on RPAS development. So far, teams have used the facility to create a VTOL delivery platform with redundant flight control systems, a stratospheric airship, and an automated RPA tethering system.

The workshop includes tools for wood and metal machining, vacuum bagging, and infusion composites manufacturing. It also features a high-altitude test chamber. This chamber allows payload testing at pressure levels equivalent to 100,000 feet.
